“The relationships between my suppliers and myself are paramount. The greatest reward in this business for me is knowing that my suppliers have an inherent trust in the fact that I always have their best business interests in mind.”
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
John grew up in the wastepaper business, spending summers working for his dad at a paper mill in NJ where he learned all the grades of wastepaper and how each can affect the papermaking process. While at the mill he eventually met the Seth and Noah Goodman and in 2000 was hired by Northstar and has been there ever since. Through his 15 plus years in the business he has held virtually every job possible from baler operator, forklift driver, wastepaper quality tester, customer service rep to his current position of senior sales executive. His vast knowledge of both paper and plastic grades allow him to understand the complete lifecycle of a recyclable from its point of generation to its end use. John’s experience in various paper and plastic manufacturing facilities and his understanding of their operations allows him to design and implement the most efficient and profitable recycling programs catered specifically to each client. His ability to find unique end uses for “hard to move” commodities has saved his clients MILLIONS of dollars per year in disposal fees.
EDUCATION

JOHN AFTER WORK
A beach bum at heart, John loves to travel as long as there is white sand, good food and a bottle of wine nearby. He is an avid football fan and usually spends his autumn Sundays in front of a TV managing multiple fantasy football teams. He is actively involved with Lungevity, a charity which raises money for Lung Cancer Research. Otherwise he enjoys relaxing at his home in Philadelphia with his wife Pamela, his son Elio and his dog Mia.
